Grand Lakes Fire Station I
271 West Mississippi Avenue
Located on Highway 453, 3.5 miles from Interstate 24 Exit 31, and 1 mile from the Northern entrance to the Land Between The Lakes. Station I is considered the “base location” of the Grand Lakes Fire & Rescue team. The station operates as the education center for firefighters with most onsite training held at the Station I location. The station houses living quarters, offices, recreation facility, equipment storage and is the home base for the departments newest Tower Ladder Truck,L-5.
Grand Lakes Fire Station II
1021 Jake Duke Road
Located on Highway 453, less than one mile North from Interstate 24 Exit 31. Station II is “mid-point station”, between Station III and Station I for the Grand Lakes Fire & Rescue team. The station is home to the departments rescue truck. The station’s rescue vehicle transports EMT and Fire equipment to aid in expediting rescue efforts in car crashes and other medical emergencies that may not require a fire engine to be on scene.
Grand Lakes Fire Station III
1354 Tiline Road
Located on Kentucky Highway 70 East, 7.5 miles from Smithland, and 2 miles from the Tiline, Kentucky. Station III provides the Grand Lakes Fire & Rescue team faster response time to the more rural South Livingston County Area. The station is home to Engine 902.
